Brittain’s first Christmas season continued with a party at her friend, Kyla Rose’s. It had been a while since they had seen each other, so she enjoyed catching up and learning what it’s like to be over 1 year old! Brittain can’t wait until she’s a big girl like Kyla Rose.
Kyla Rose recognized her bouncy seat (that we are borrowing temporarily):
Amanda greeted Brittain when she arrived:
Kyla Rose found that it was much more fun being backwards in the bouncy seat:

Brittain enjoyed an afternoon ladies brunch this past weekend. What fun! The aerobics class that Mom and I attend got together for good food, good company and an ornament swap!

Each Christmas, Dan’s friends from high school get together to celebrate Christmakkuh (you probably guessed that we honor both Hanukkuh and Christmas at this party). I believe this year was the 6th annual and it was held at our home. A great time was had by all and it was wonderful to be able to catch up with good friends. Everyone’s lives are so different now…we’re grown ups!
Brittain stuck around long enough to greet everyone before going to Mimi and Duke’s to spend-the-night.
Brittain talked with Patrick McEwen about her Bumbo seat and how she felt like a big girl sitting up:
